Taking action on climate change and health requires collaboration across all sectors — both within and beyond the health field. 

This course is designed for anyone interested in understanding the connections between climate change and health, whether you’re an undergraduate student, a working professional in the health or government sectors, or simply passionate about making a difference.

What you will learn:

Climate change is already affecting the physical and mental health of millions worldwide — and these risks are only growing. How will they evolve as the planet warms? Who will face the greatest health burdens, and why? Most importantly, what can we do about it?

In this video-based online course, you’ll learn directly from leading climate and health experts from around the world. Through real-world examples and diverse knowledge systems, you’ll examine the inequitable health impacts of climate change, explore evidence-based solutions, and discover new opportunities for meaningful climate action by viewing the crisis through a health lens.

The Climate Change and Health MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) feature three interconnected courses, where you’ll dive into three main topic areas:

🌡 Climate Change and Health Risks — how climate hazards affect our bodies, minds, and communities
🌱 Climate Change and Health Solutions — strategies for adaptation, mitigation, resilience, and sustainable development
Climate Change & Health Advocacy and Activism — how individuals and institutions can drive meaningful change
